The Zoom IQ, now AI Companion, harnesses the same technologies as its predecessor. It uses Zoom’s generative AI and models from OpenAI, Meta, & Anthropic. Nevertheless, its scope encompasses more aspects of the firm’s ecosystem, such as Zoom Whiteboard, Zoom Mail, and Zoom Team Chat.
In the spring of 2024, Zoom wants to introduce a conversational environment where users to converse with the AI Companion directly. Users can pose queries on past meetings and chats and perform various actions. During meetings, they can seek information from the AI Companion, create and log support requests, and draft responses to questions.
Also, Zoom’s AI Companion will provide real-time responses to participants’ engagement in meetings. The administrator or account owner can deactivate AI Companion at any time.
In Zoom’s messaging application, Zoom Team Chat, users will soon enjoy shorter chat threads using the AI Companion. In early 2024, users can automatically complete a chat and schedule meetings using a chat thread. Zoom Whiteboard lets users carry out image generation and populate templates with AI Companion 2024 court.
In the early fall, users of Zoom Mail can access AI-generated email propositions from the AI Companion. Additionally, by spring 2024, users can include meeting summaries in Notes. Notes is Zoom’s note-taking application. Also, users can summarize message threads & calls from Zoom Phone, Zoom’s VoIP service. Only premium Zoom users can access these services once they become available.
